How is it transmitted ?
COVID-19 can spread from an infected person’s mouth or nose when they sneeze, cough, or speak. Here are some other ways in which the disease is spread:
- Close contact with each other and can be infected when the air-borne containing the virus is inhaled or comes directly into the eyes, nose, and mouth
- Spread in crowded indoor and poorly ventilated areas
- Infection can occur by touching surfaces that have been contaminated with COVID-19 and touching their eyes, nose, and mouth without cleaning your hand
