Ridpest

Stephen Liu is a dynamic entrepreneur with over 20 years of expertise in this trade. He first started working in a leading pest control company in Singapore for three years. Later, he joined another foreign company in the same trade for another three years.

In 1985, he started Ridpest. His entrepreneur spirit proved to be a success and the company grew rapidly. His first-hand knowledge of the industry enables him to understand the demands of his clients as well as the need for development. With him at the helm exercising his leadership qualities, Ridpest has grown from a small local company to one that is on par with its international counterparts.

Stephen’s credentials include the following:

  • Founding member of the Pest Control Association of Malaysia (PCAM) since 1992
  • President of the Pest Control Association of Malaysia (PCAM)  from 1997 to March 2002
  • Ordinary member of the Malaysian Institute of Management (MIM)
  • Licensed fumigator by the Ministry of Health, Malaysia

Angeline began her career by volunteering her services in a number of Christian organizations where she was actively involved in training, teaching and development programmes. After more than 5 years, she opted to venture into the corporate scene where she has gained real-life experience with a broad range of organizations, from multinational companies to the smallest start-ups.

She holds a Masters in Business Administration from Preston University, USA. She is able to relate well to all levels of executive management from the CEO down to the store-keeper. She believes in people empowerment through living and teaching principles. Her work blends very well with her own outlook and passions in life.

Her professional experience encompasses organizational analysis, mission/vision/objectives, culture change, organization alignment, communications and performance management.

Winslow Wong
General Manager

Winslow started his career as a teacher in 1980 after obtaining his teaching certificate from the Specialist Teachers’ Training Institute in Kuala Lumpur. He left the teaching profession in 1981 to further his studies at the University of Malaya. Upon graduating in 1984 with a Bachelor’s degree in English, he joined the corporate sector and since then, he has had a chequered career in a broad range of organisations, from media companies to professional, trade and non-governmental bodies. Over the last 23 years, he has acquired wide experience in management, communications, human resources, administration and fundraising, among others.

As General Manager of Ridpest, Winslow oversees the planning, managing and co-ordinating of all departments. He is responsible for the company’s human resource planning, recruitment, training and development with special emphasis in the field of organisational development and performance-driven corporate culture. He also oversees the company’s franchise business.

Farah Rusli is a qualified Entomologist with a Science Degree with Honours in Zoology (Conservation Biology) from Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia. During her undergraduate years, she studied entomology and also worked in the Terrestrial Ecology Laboratory of Environmental Science School, Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia.

Her scope of work centred on identifying Arthropods especially with regards to Soil Arthropods on succession areas. She completed her final year thesis on “A Study of Soil Arthropods on Three Different Succession Areas” under the supervision of Professor Madya Dr. Nor Aini Dan, Lecturer of Environmental Science School, Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia, who specializes in Terrestrial Arthoropods.
