TERMS & CONDITIONS
- TERMITE INSPECTION (2 times) - 1st inspection prior to confirmation of contract, and 2nd inspection 6 months after commencement. A separate charge will be imposed for every additional inspection requested by the customer. However this charge will be waived if the inspection confirms active subterranean termite infestation.
- Covers ALL species of SUBTERRANEAN termites (176 known species in Malaysia), EXCEPT DRY WOOD termites and other WOOD BORERS.
- Baiting and control techniques will be used to treat active termite infestation affecting the property covered. For Coptotermes or Schedorhinotermes species of termites (which constitute 95% of termites that damage properties in Malaysia), the RIDPEST Innovative Baiting System (RIBS) will be used to eliminate their colonies, while for other species, other treatment methods, eg. residual treatment & injection of chemicals treatment, will be used.
- As long as there is currently NO ACTIVE termite infestation, your property is eligible for coverage. However, a 25% LOADING will be imposed if your property had previously been infested by termites. This loading will NOT be applicable if the previous active infestation had been treated by RIDPEST using RIBS.
- Property covered shall include wooden panel walls, flooring, roof trusses, window and door frame, built-in cabinets, patios, pergolas which form part of the main building structure and also any courtyard/garden within the said property (EXCLUDING wooden fences, wooden gates, plant structures, trees ornaments, garden shed, dog kennels, and any other structures that do NOT form part of the main building structure).
- In the event of any termite infestation occurring just before the expiry of the current TPP contract and the estimated time taken to treat the infestation extends beyond the current contract period, the customer MUST renew the contract for another 12 months so that the baiting or remedial treatment can continue uninterrupted. If you decide NOT to renew the TPP contract, Ridpest reserves the right to either stop any ongoing termite treatment or not commence any new treatment at all on the expiry date of the current TPP contract.

Can my property be covered if it had previously been infested by termites?

Why do I need TPP if my property has never been infested with termites?

Do I need to renew my TPP if the active termite infestation occurs just before the expiry of the current contract?
Should any termite infestation occur just before the expiry of your current contract and the estimated time taken to treat the infestation is likely to extend beyond the current contract period, you MUST renew your contract so that our treatment can continue uninterrupted.
