Termite Damage Compensation

In the event the Customer’s premises are damaged by termites covered under the Sentricon Service Agreement, namely COPTOTERMES sp. and SCHEDORHINOTERMES sp., AFTER installation of the Sentricon System (applicable to Full System with monitoring stations only), the Company will pay cash or reimburse the repair or replacement cost up to an annual aggregate limit of 30% of the 1st year (installation) contract amount or a maximum of RM10,000, whichever is lower. Renewal of contract will also be entitled to the same compensation on a yearly basis, as long as there is NO LAPSE in the contract. The building structures shall include wood appurtenances, fixtures and fittings like built-in kitchen cabinets, windows and doorframes, built-in wardrobes, timber roof truss cross members, lowered chipboards and fibre-board ceilings. Exterior structures such as gates, fencing, gazebos and pergolas; as well as trees and plants, and inventory items that are NOT part of the building proper are NOT claimable. Damages caused by other termite species are also NOT claimable.

Claim Procedures

  • Call RIDPEST and we will take you through the claim procedures. This claim is strictly for Sentricon Full System only and NOT applicable for other packages.
  • Complete Termite Damage Compensation claim form and return it to RIDPEST.
  • RIDPEST will contact you within 7 days to arrange for a joint inspection with you to assess the damage.
  • Once RIDPEST has confirmed the damage is caused by termites covered under the Agreement, RIDPEST and the Customer will proceed to get their respective quotations for the repair or replacement.
  • Once the claim is approved, RIDPEST will inform the appointed contractor mutually agreed upon by RIDPEST and the Customer, to proceed with the repair or replacement, based on a claim amount approved by RIDPEST.
  • RIDPEST and the Customer will carry out a final joint inspection to inspect and confirm the completion of the repair or replacement.
  • RIDPEST will pay the appointed contractor.
