Annie graduated from Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia (UKM) with a Bachelor of Science honours degree in Biomedical Science. She gained her vast experiences in research in vector control from UKM and the Institute for Medical Research (IMR). Her passion drove her to further her research in Urban and Industrial Entomology with the Vector Control Research Unit (VCRU) in Universiti Sains Malaysia (USM), specializing in common household pests like ants, termites and cockroaches, and subsequently obtained her Master of Science degree.
During her years with UKM, IMR, VCRU and USM, Annie studied and researched various types of urban and medical vectors and pests ranging from mosquitoes, flies, rats, ants, cockroaches, termites to bedbugs. With her burning passion and commitment to serve the society, she has decided to contribute her knowledge and experience by providing good quality services and solutions to the community via Ridpest Shah Alam.
Her approach to pest management emphasizes on Integrated Pest Management and Green Pest Management measures. She believes with proper scientific approach, education and awareness, pests can be brought under manageable threshold level in the most environmentally feasible manner.

Peng Soon graduated from Universiti Sains Malaysia (USM) with a BSc. in Entomology in 2001. He obtained his Master’s degree in Entomology from the same university, specializing in Subterranean Termites Coptotermes spp. – Biology, Behavior, Ecology and Control. He authored and co-authored several scientific publications for local and international journals.
He was a recipient of the Pest Control Association of Malaysia Scholarship Award in 2001, USM-Ridsect Scholarship Award in 2002 and an award from the Japanese Society of Promoting Science (JSPS) program by Wood Research Institute, Kyoto University, Japan in 2003.
His previous working experience includes being a Student Assistant & Research Assistant for entomology projects in Urban Entomology Laboratory, USM and Entomologist & Technical Service Executive for Homesafe Products, especially for insecticide aerosol, coil, liquid vaporizer and mat.

RIZAL DAWAMI

Rizal holds a Bachelor of Science Biology honours degree from Universiti Putra Malaysia (UPM). His thesis was on “Distribution and Diversity of Gastropods in Port Dickson Seashore”.
He has more than 5 years of relevant experience in Customer Service, Operations, Marketing and Business Development. He holds a Pesticide Applicator Licence from the Pesticides Board of Malaysia.
Q Living Services Sdn Bhd is the first Bumiputera pest management franchise company in Malaysia.

NASRUL AZIZI NASAARUDDIN

Nasrul Azizi graduated in the field of Information Technology (IT) in 2000. He spent about two years in the IT field with a government-linked corporation (GLC) before embarking into sales in the financial industry. In September 2006, Nasrul joined RIDPEST as a Telemarketer. A year later, he moved on to be a Pest Management Advisor (PMA). As a PMA, he achieved highest monthly sales numerous times.
Nasrul’s 7 years of sales involvement ranges from inside selling to outside selling in both consumer and business markets. In 2008, Nasrul saw the benefits of a RIDPEST Franchisee and was determined to be his own boss. With full trust in the RIDPEST Franchise after having been a PMA with RIDPEST, Nasrul took a big step in remortgaging his house to take up the RIDPEST Franchise opportunity. In 2009, Nasrul established NN Pest Control Sdn Bhd to be the 4th RIDPEST Franchisee.
When asked about the main criterion to be a good franchisee, Nasrul’s answer is simple : “positive thinking and willing to take the risk”. He also advises those interested in taking up a franchise to do a market survey first before signing up with any franchisor. Nasrul is confident that he can be a successful businessman and hopes to open more franchise outlets in the future.

WONG SAY WEI

Wong Say Wei holds a Diploma in Business Management and had more than 5 years of sales experience prior to joining RIDPEST. His sales portfolio includes international trade from Asia to Africa.
Wong saw the necessity and urgency for pest management in the country and set up Steadfast Pest Management Sdn Bhd to take up the RIDPEST Franchise. In 2010, RIDPEST Desa Petaling started its operations. Since then, Wong has gained further knowledge and skills in pest management particularly in termites.
Known for his friendliness and warm welcome, Wong has always believes that prevention is better than cure.
